He founded Fenwick Elliott in London in 1980 and led the firm as senior partner for over two decades, acting on major projects worldwide across a wide range of sectors. Now based in Australia, he practises as an independent barrister and is an international member of Keating Chambers.

Duncan is a construction professional with over 35 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor, project manager and employer’s agent, working across major infrastructure, power, commercial and residential projects internationally.
Since 2008, he has specialised in dispute resolution, acting as expert witness in adjudication, arbitration and litigation, and providing both written and oral evidence in high-value disputes across multiple sectors.
